Scientific Agenda
The science content of the 2nd Heliospheric Network meeting is divided into six sessions. In their course, Keynote & Invited talks will be given to be followed by oral contributions and poster papers.
The titles of the sessions are the following:
  • Session (i): The behaviour of the global magnetic field of the Sun
  • Session (ii): The origin of the solar wind (with particular emphasis on the origin of the slow solar wind)
  • Session (iii): The initiation and time-evolution of transients, and their relationship to the global properties of the Sun and heliosphere
  • Session (iv): The acceleration of energetic particles in all settings (including ACRs)
  • Session (v): Energetic particle and cosmic-ray transport in the 3D heliosphere
  • Session (vi): The heliosphere as an astrophysical system
